We talk a lot about the value of coworking but what does the research actually say? Here’s a look at the evidence behind why people often feel more focused, more motivated and more connected in shared workspaces.

The Science Behind Co-Working

In the era of remote and hybrid working, one thing is becoming very clear, where we work matters. We want to share why this matters. I know what you’re thinking, of course we’d say that, we’re a coworking space. And you’d be right. But the evidence below speaks for itself.

1. Productivity gets a boost

While working from home offers flexibility, it also brings distractions, blurred boundaries and social isolation. By contrast, research shows that working in a coworking space can lead to significantly better outcomes.

2. Community & connection amplify happiness & growth

It’s not just about desks and WiFi, the social element matters. Co-working spaces combine the independence of working solo with the energy of being around others.

3. Why this matters to you (and your team)

So there you have it, the science behind co-working.

Co-working isn’t just a trend, instead it’s a response to how people actually work best.
